MEET JUSTICE JACQUE

Justice Jacque

Meet Justice Jacque

Jacqueline A. Scott, a.k.a. Justice Jacque, may be best known for being the creator, producer and star of her own successful TV series Cajun Court, but she has always seen herself as a community servant first and foremost.

Jacque’s unique brand of southern sensibility and no nonsense advocacy for truth and equality quickly propelled her up through the ranks of a male-dominated profession, eventually returning her to the halls of Southern University where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Production of the series began in the fall of 2013 with Jacque’s brother hand crafting the courtroom set while she combed through thousands of past cases looking for inspiring stories that highlighted trending issues in the community.
Her approach to community messaging appears to be on target as Cajun Court’s ratings have continued to grow each year. In fact, she was even appointed as an Ad Hoc Judge.
